Leadership

Gazelle Hashemian,
President/CEO

For almost three decades, Gazelle has helped organizations in the private and public sector implement technology solutions that benefit the organization’s bottom line.  In the past few years, it has become evident to her that all organizations, public or private, could use effective governance and technology investment-business objective alignment.  This will ensure business-technology alignment and maximum business value from IT investments.  She formed BluJuniper to help clients with:

  • Governance – Select technologies that align to strategic plan and manage them properly throughout their lifecycle.
  • Data Analytics – Analyze business data to measure KPIs and determine future business scenarios.
  • Cybersecurity – Assess and protect business and client data.
  • IT solutions – Determine which IT solutions will benefit the business most and implement those solutions effectively, on time, and within budget.

Gazelle founded BluJuniper on the basis that a business can manage only what it can measure.  BluJuniper can help an organization by offering incremental change or a thorough data management transformation to dramatically increase its efficiency and visibility.

Prior to BluJuniper, Gazelle was the cofounder/President of Paragon Technology Group for 11 years.  Under her leadership, Paragon grew organically to annual revenues of $41M with 3 offices nationally and employing over 240 employees.  Some of Paragon’s business accomplishments include:

  • Magazine’s 5000 list in 2010 and 2011
  • 10th largest 8a business supporting the Federal Government in 2011
  • Top small business in the U.S., 2001

  • Inducted into the George Washington University’s School of Engineering Hall of Fame, 2013

Gazelle has also been active in giving back to community by providing mentorship in local Women-In-Technology Mentor/Protégé program and actively supporting The Children’s Inn at NIH.  In 2011, she was appointed a member of the George Washington University School of Engineering National Advisory Council where she has been supporting the school’s development as well as mentoring engineering students.

She currently sits on the board of Project Turquoise which she helped cofound with her friends to help displaced families in US and abroad and is a member of We Capital, an investment forum, where female investors invest in female led social impact startups.

Her other industry positions include Director of IT at Broadband Office, CIO of Picus, Director of IT at Teligent, and other management and engineering positions at MCI metro and Hughes Network Systems.  She holds a Masters in Telecommunications from the George Washington University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from George Mason University.
